Etiquette within the Modern Craft

• "An it harm none, Do as thou wilt"

• When entering a circle you should do so in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust.

• Be on time for ritual.  "Pagan Standard Time" is not something with which to aspire.

• Items such as Cell Phones and other "noise makers" should not be brought into Circle.
   
• Smoking within Circle is not allowed.
   
• You should never attend circle when intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

• If you are officially studying or working with a teacher or a coven you must be released before seeking another teacher or group. This is not normally a problem but it will definitely become one if you don't follow the correct procedures.
   
• When you participate in a public circle and you have either a question or a problem with something that was done in that circle your question should always be addressed to the High Priest/ess that officiated that circle.  To condemn it without discussing with the High Priest/ess is a horrible breach of ethics.
   
• In individual cases if a breach of ethics occurs and is known about there are usually Elders within the community that will take care of the problem. If you ever know of such a case you can report the incident to any Elder in the community or if the offender is part of a tradition you should seek out someone within that tradition.

• Personal information and things discussed within a group are private and should not be discussed outside the group without everyone's permission or unless the group is hosting a public event.

• Know that you represent many who practice the Craft. Every action you take reflects who and what you are and tells others something about you. Be a good example. Live your "Craft".

• Never put down other spiritual paths. Show the kind of respect and acceptance you would like for others to show to yours.

• Politics have no place in the Craft but they exist. Be wary of people who exert power over others. Power is something we develop from within and if we have power from within we have no need to hold power over anyone.

• If you are feeling negativity coming to you from others, mundane or psychic, first look to yourself. What doors have you opened? What have you done to bring them around? Check your alignments. Negative elements can have no affect on you when in proper alignment and you are not open to them.
