Tulsa - OPHA Sponsored Drum Circle
The Oklahoma Pagan/Heathen Alliance (OPHA) is happy to announce that we will be sponsoring a monthly drumming circle! Everyone is welcome. The Circle will be held on the first Thursday of every month from 6:30pm-8:30pm (time may last much longer, but this is the set time) on the patio at Gypsy Coffee House. That address is 303 N. Cincinnati, Tulsa, OK. Gypsy is a wonderfully pagan-friendly venue, and was delighted to grant us permission to use their facility. Their food and beverages are wonderful, as well. While the Drum circle is a FREE event, we encourage everyone to purchase food or drinks from the establishment to help provide an incentive to allow us to continue meeting for free in their venue.
OPHA Membership forms will be available at all times and a donation jar for OPHA will be out for anyone who would like to donate money to this worth organization.
For those of you who are familiar with the Gypsy and its patio, there are 3 or 4 cement tables with benches which are difficult to move around, so we suggest that you bring a chair or stool of some sort. Other than that, bring your drum (if you have extras that you would be willing to loan to those who don't yet have a drum, please do!), your shakers, rattles, flutes, or whatever you want to make noise with. The more the merrier and we will be raising some GREAT energy! Of course, we're at the mercy of the weather, as the owner preferred that we be outside. It's possible he would allow us to move in in case of rain, but don't count on it. We'll try to get more clarification on this. In the meantime, we hope to see a great bunch of folks. Because drumming is so addictive, we'll hopefully be adding more Circles each month as interest grows. |

Tulsa - Beltane Public Sabbat by Crone Gloria
Celebrating the Eight Hinges of the Year. Open to all and free of charge.
This Event is held at Chandler Park.
To get to Chandler Park get to 23rd and Southwest Boulevard by going
west across the 21st Street bridge or using Highway 75. At the
light, go west on 23rd. It will curve and come to a T at a factory.
Turn left and continue on that road for many blocks until you see a
hill on your left and a turn lane on the highway. The words Chandler
Park are imbedded in the grassy slope. Turn left off the highway
there and then right up the hill to the park.
Continue straight. Do not take the road to the right that leads to
the lower level of the park. Ignore the first brown, wooden sign
PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. Pass the swimming pool on your
left, then the stone picnic pavilions. At the second PEDESTRIANS
sign, turn left. Continue on that road as it curves to the right
until you see a flat, grassy area on the left. Park your car
anywhere along that road.
