Welcome to THE OKLAHOMA PAGAN ASSOCIATION.

This organization was created with the sole idea of helping a thriving Pagan Community to prosper and flourish in our great state of Oklahoma. This organization is the oldest and largest of its kind in the State of Oklahoma, and we are proud to say that we are continually growing and moving forward. To help that reality to become manifest we have implemented several different approaches to bond and strengthen community throughout this state. We maintain this website, a YahooGroups Discussion Forum, Classes & Intensives, and a Statewide Calendar of Events to help inform our Pagan family of happenings in and around Oklahoma. OKP also sponsors Seasonal Festivals each year in the hopes of continuing the bonds and education formed in this state.

OKP is non-tradition specific. We are a networking group located within Oklahoma. We work with many groups and faith based systems to make available the many programs, classes, events, and opportunities that we offer our communities. Our interest is to make available information on multiple traditions, groups, covens, classes, and events within Oklahoma, to create an atmosphere where people from across the State can come together to experience different faith systems and practices, to help those who are looking for a specific group or class to more easily find it.

We have grown exponentially since our start in 1997, and we have all of you to thank for that. We hope to grow even larger and offer more services and provide you even more. In order to do that please help us to further publicize this site by linking to it from your own group or personal web space. The instructions for doing so are found here.

The Oklahoma Pagan Association's founders are proud members, and along with many other individuals part of the original founding members, of The Oklahoma Pagan/Heathen Alliance (OPHA). We encourage all people, groups or individuals, who are interested in peaceful, ethical, and enlightened growth and community to consider joining this Statewide organization and adding their input to this wonderful organization.

Recently there have been several groups that have started using "OKPagan" in their names or descriptions. These groups are not part of the official OKPagan Media Sources. Only sites that are explicitly stated on the OKPagan.com website as being part of OKPagan, like OKP Events, are actually affiliated with The Oklahoma Pagan Association.
